Maya Wrap Adjustable Pouch
Pros
--Simple pouch style is very easy to use, and arguably
has the shortest learning curve of any style of carrier
--No adjustments needed once you initially set the pouch
to the right zipper adjustment for your size
--Easy and fast to take baby in and out, which makes this
a great option for a newborn that needs to nurse frequently,
or a toddler that wants to move often between exploring
and cuddling
--Each size covers a wide range of users, making it very
easy to use one pouch for multiple wearers
--Can be used in a variety of positions, including tummy-to-tummy,
cradle, hip and back
--Beautiful, hand-woven fabrics
Cons
--Unable to adjust the sling once you have it on (see
'tips' below for information on making minor adjustments
while wearing the carrier)
--Difficult to remove the pouch while baby is in it, and
therefore hard to put a sleeping baby down without waking
him
--One-shoulder style is not as comfortable for long durations
once baby hits approximately 15lbs
--Some people may find the extra fabric in the adjustment
area (on the back) slightly annoying when the pouch is
on a smaller setting
Tips
--Flip the top layer of fabric away from your neck and
out over your shoulder to tighten up the top rail of the
pouch - useful for bringing baby in closer to your body
and providing a more snug fit
